Lori is one of the three Founding Board Members of AGE Inc. She is a Mixed Methods Researcher and Advanced Practice Nurse Educator. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, where she has held various clinical roles focused on older people at acute and chronic care hospitals and long-term care from 1981 – 2006.

Lori joined the faculty of Ryerson Nursing as an Associate Professor in the fall of 2006. Her research focuses on the development of theory-driven, inter-professional education programs that enhance best practices related to responsive behaviour associated with dementia, such as reluctance for bathing and sexual expression. Her work includes building and testing standardized dementia behaviour observation tools to measure impact of non-pharmacological interventions.
