Partnership & Collaboration – AGE

Partnership & Collaboration

As a national not-for-profit social enterprise, AGE is committed to working collaboratively with partners at a local, regional and national level to ensure quality dementia education that is outreach-focused, accessible, affordable and continues to meet the needs of older adults and those who provide their care.

Since its inception over a decade ago, our main product, Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) in Dementia Care, has been delivered to 550,000+ participants, by 2,900+ committed GPA Certified Coaches in more than 1,700 organizations across sectors and settings.

Our partners and those we collaborate with appreciate the importance of what we are doing. Together, we are helping to develop a deeper understanding, wider acceptance and broader implementation of person-centred care.

Conservative estimates would suggest each successful GPA participant interacts regularly with at least 5 to 10 people in the course of their role in the care setting. Imagine the potential for change toward a universal culture of person-centred care. However, without strong, committed partnerships and collaborations to help us deliver our products and programs, change would not be possible.
